The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo

Monday, August 22, 2022 - 10:27am

UnCovered review by Arlene Canale, ACLS Absecon Branch

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is the total package.  It is the very best of classic Hollywood intrigue with a delicious twist.   A glamorous romp through Hollywood in its heyday with a dazzling ambitious movie star who will break your heart.

Evelyn Hugo is a glamorous movie star, who is also a relentless fighter for what she wants.  Her life story is heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time.  This novel will keep readers fascinated till the very end.

This novel was first released in 2017 and has just recently become the book that everyone wants to read. Pulling inspiration from the collective lives of Elizabeth Taylor, Ava Gardner, and Rita Haworth, you’ll want to put Taylor Jenkins Reid’s The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo on your TBR now too.
