Atlantic County Library System/Pleasantville hosts monthly Movie Nights for the whole family. The free programs are suggested for age 8 and older accompanied by an adult.
On Wednesday, February 24 at 5 pm, the movie shown in honor of Black History Month is The Express which is rated PG and tells the story of college football hero Ernie Davis, the first African-American to win the Heisman Trophy, who became an icon for the civil rights movement in the early 1960’s. On Wednesday, March 24 at 5 pm, the movie shown in honor of March Madness is Space Jam which is rated PG and features Michael Jordan and the entire Looney Tunes gang in a live-action/animation basketball game.
