| The Atlantic County Library System offers a free video download service for card holders. MyLibraryDV is a digital content service that provides library card holders with access to free lifestyle, entertainment, and informational programming. Videos can be downloaded to your personal computer. Selections include: classic, independent, and foreign films; popular public television programming such as Antiques Roadshow, Globe Trekker, and America’s Test Kitchen; and other home improvement, health and fitness, literature, travel and cooking videos. | ||||||||||
| Atlantic County Library card holders can get started by visiting the library’s homepage at www.atlanticlibrary.org and clicking on the MyLibraryDV logo to install the download manager. Once MyLibraryDV is installed, follow the instructions to view any of the hundreds of hours of programming. Card holders may have up to 10 programs at a given time, and the programs have a seven day checkout period, When the checkout expires, the program automatically deletes from the computer. | ||||||||||
| To download the MyLibraryDV manager, you need a broadband Internet connection (DSL, cable, etc.), the most recent version of your browser (such as Firefox or Internet Explorer), Microsoft Windows 2000 with SP4 or Windows XP with SP2, Flash Player 9 and Windows Media Player 10 with the most recent security update, 1 gigabyte of available hard-drive space, 1GHz processor or greater. MyLibraryDV’s software automatically detects and alerts you of any necessary Player upgrades and aids in their installation. | ||||||||||
