Atlantic County Library System/Brigantine offers a Veteran’s Day Movie Event: Prisoners of War Break Out! on Thursday, November 15 at 5:30 pm. The free event is open to ages 18 and older. The first 35 people to arrive are admitted. Attendees are welcome to bring their own take-out. Pizza will be available for $3. Beverage, utensils and dessert are provided.

Steve McQueen and James Garner star in this 1963 movie about the true story of 76 Allied airmen who escaped from Germany’s most infamous P.O.W. camp in 1945. The movie’s running time is 172 minutes.
